ATTENTION: |

| After
mounting our horses we follow a winding jungle like trail, called the Ka`awaloa Trail,
down towards the ocean. The top part of the trail has many overhanging trees, tall grasses
and beautiful yellow flowers (Hawaiian daisies) growing on both sides of the trail,
at certain times of the year. Most of the trees along the trail are Ekoa trees, but you will also see Mango, Coffee,Tamerine and Kiawe. |

Your trail guides, Bones, pictured on the trail below, or Pocho, will give you a great history lesson about this very historic and culturally sensative area and all about the flora and fauna around you. |

| After about
forty five minutes, we reach this beautiful scenic spot, pictured on the right. The
beautiful Kona Coast. What a sight! Even though we ride this same trail almost daily, we never tire of the splendor of the views we see from the trail. During certain times of the year we even see Humpback whales playing off the coast. |
